Public art elevated
Episode 1:
The mural is curated by Shaun Hossack, Founder and Creative Director of Juddy Roller, the studio behind some of Australia's most iconic public art, including the Silo Art Trail and the Wall to Wall Festival. Shaun worked closely with each artist to shape a trail that feels like a genuine portrait of Footscray, not just a wall of art, bringing the same instinct for storytelling and place that's defined his work across the country.

Episode 2
As a resident and lover of Footscray, Lynn Bremner has drawn on her years living in the suburb to create a mural that celebrates the area's multiculturalism and diversity. Interwoven throughout the artwork are small details designed to bring a smile to the community. These include a famous bonded pair of macaws often seen flying around the neighbourhood, a dolphin as a nod to the dearly missed Olympic Donuts, and of course a Bulldog representing Footscray's pride in the Western Bulldogs.

Episode 3
Seth's 'The Painting Game' depicts a boy painting on the ground in earthy red tones, his head becoming the source of a colourful vortex that mirrors his own artwork below. The saturated circles symbolise a child's imagination, nourished by his surroundings, while the contrast between ground and sky speaks to the transformative power within each of us. The work suggests Footscray's true richness lies not just in its structures, but in the diverse, creative stories of its people.
